INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN
For the past fourteen years, I have been helping to design and build online distance learning courses and modules for the Department of Family Medicine at Boston University School of Medicine. We use a variety of mediums, including audio and video, to engage learners and to communicate ideas and information. Discussion boards and knowledge checks are often used to allow learners to process and gauge what they are learning, and to provide opportunities for instructor feedback. Some courses are built in Blackboard 8 while others are built using html.
